The T-shirt features a striking white line-art design on a black fabric, seamlessly blending symbolism and spiritual depth. 

At the center of the design is a swan (haṁsa), traditionally associated with Self Knowledge (jñāna), purity, and the ability to discern the Real from the Unreal (viveka).

Here, the swan’s body transforms into jñāna mudrā, a yogic seal representing Self Knowledge. The curve of the swan’s neck smoothly transitions into the thumb and index finger touching, forming a circle—a symbol of oneness between the individual self (ātman) and the supreme reality (brahman). 

The other three fingers extend outward, signifying the transcendence of the three gunas (sattva, rajas, and tamas).

Surrounding the swan-mudrā fusion are whimsical celestial elements—stars, hearts, and abstract shapes—evoking a sense of the vastness of the cosmos and the interconnectedness of all existence.

So’ham, THE SWAN MANTRA, translates to “I am That”. It is a powerful mantra which carries the essence of  non-duality: Advaita Vedānta. It reinforces the oneness of the (seemingly) individual self (jīvātman) with the Supreme Self (paramātman). It dissolves the mind’s identifications and in time reveals all that remains:  I am That. 

This mantra is considered ajapa-japa (a mantra that is eventually naturally repeated without effort) because its rhythm and sound aligns with the natural sound of the breath.
